What makes these courts stand out among the rest? According to the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) facilities chosen for this prestigious award possess the following qualities:

“Five of these winners are at public tennis facilities, and three are at schools or universities-pointing out the importance of publicly accessible tennis facilities to the growth of this sport.

Most of these winners are hard-court facilities, and most make use of the long-lasting properties of a post-tensioned concrete base. Many of the projects also have courts that have added blended lines for youth and beginner play. Nine of these projects benefited from the expertise of a Certified Tennis Court Builder, highlighting the importance to facility owners of having knowledgeable court contractors who are aware of the latest construction techniques.”
